This Years Auction To Feature Local Trip
With Lefty Kreh
The fun begins on Friday evening at the Troutfest Cookout and Auction. The event will be held at the Townsend Visitors Center just two miles from the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Troutfest Culinary Team will again prepare the now famous Troutfest chicken and the scrumptious side dishes. You are promised to have the same great meal that you have come to expect at the Troutfest Cookout!
Bucket raffles and silent auction items will be placed in strategic locations around the Troutfest Center. The live auction will again take place after dinner and will feature several coveted items including a local float trip with renowned angler and author Lefty Kreh and guide Josh Pfeiffer, and a bamboo rod made by nationally known rod maker and angler Walter Babb. Profits derived from all the Troutfest events are donated to the Fisheries Department at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Special guests include the Park Service management team as well as Bob Clouser, Lefty Kreh, Anthony Hipps, Zach Matthews and Jason Borger. The night promises to be an evening to remember.
A 6,000 square foot tent will be erected and connected to the Visitors Center building and the Pavillion. This will give you 8,000 square feet of space, plenty of room for the maximum 300 tickets to be sold.
Tickets will be available in February 2012. Ticket prices are $50. You may buy them by calling toll free, 877-448-3474, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (EDT), 7 days a week. Want to buy tickets online?
